Instructions:
1. Preheat the oven to 350F
2. Prep the meatballs by mixing together ground meat, grated apple, seasonings, breadcrumbs, cheese, egg, and milk until combined. Using a tablespoon, scoop the meat mixture and roll to form a ball. NOTE: mixture makes about 20 meatballs. Place rolled meatballs on a lined baking tray and bake for 40 minutes, flipping half way through to provide an even cook. Turn the temperature to 400F and cook for another 10 minutes.
3. In a sauce pan, melt butter over medium heat and add flour, whisk to form a roux. Add cream, vegetable stock and season with garlic powder. Bring to a gentle boil.
4. When sauce thickens, reduce the heat and add Dijon, fresh herbs and cheddar cheese. Add soy sauce and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
5. When ready to serve, add the cooked meatballs to the cream sauce and add 1 chopped Cosmic Crisp® apple over top, mix to combine & enjoy!
